Essential Oils in MassageWax

MassageWax contains essential oils which are powerful substances. However MassageWax is made with a low amount of essential oil in relation to the base oil, therefore the potency is gentle and light and not likely to cause adverse affects. 

In some circumstances however, research indicates that certain essential oils are best avoided. In particular it is recommended that essential oils not be used for babies and children or for those with certain health conditions (See each blend). For these conditions, it is recommended that Pure MassageWax be used as it contains no essential oils or Arnica.

Arnica is widely used to aid in recovery from bruising, inflammation and muscle strain but is best avoided for the indicated health conditions. 

Choosing the Right Blend of MassageWax

To help you choose the right MassageWax aroma, I have used this color to indicate the main essential oil fragrance that comes through in each blend. The other essential oils in each blend provide a hint of fragrance.

Pure MassageWax - contains RiceBran Oil, Bees Wax gentle fragrance of beeswax

Contains essential nutrients for the skin.  Softens and rehydrates all skin types.

A must in all therapy clinics as Pure MassageWax is ideal to use for children, pregnancy, hyper-sensitive, the elderly and those with diagnosed health conditions.  Pure Massagewax contains no Arnica and can be used for most people with health related issues. If you wish, you may add your own essential oils to the mositurising Pure MassageWax to create your own unique blend. 

Sports MassageWax - contains Peppermint, Lavender, Tea Tree, Arnica

The essential oils chosen for Sports MassageWax offer anti-inflammatory properties which are beneficial for healing, calming & cooling or sore tight muscle tissue. This blend is popular with Osteopathy, Physiotherapy and Deep Tissue Massage Therapy. 

Caution: Sports MassageWax not for use with pregnancy, sensitive skin, epilepsy and blood pressure conditions.

Fresh MassageWax - contains Lavender, Lemongrass, Chamomile, Arnica

Fresh Blend is uplifting and relaxing, while giving a calming effect and soothing tired muscles, great moisturising for skin. A great alternative to the Sports MassageWax.

Caution: Fresh MassageWax is not for use with pregnancy, blood pressure, glaucoma, and prostate conditions.

Winter MassageWax - Eucalyptus, Wintergreen, Menthol, Peppermint, Arnica

Relieves muscular inflammation and tightness.  Invigorating and cooling on the body. Great for clearing the head from the congestion of colds and hay fever.  Winter MassageWax helps stimulate the immune system.

Caution: Winter MassageWax is not for use with pregnancy, epilepsy, sensitive skin or prostate or liver conditions.

Earth MassageWax - contains Arnica, YlangYlang, ClarySage, Bergamot

Uplifting sweetness with gentle exotic fragrance. Earth MassageWax can soothe away stress and tension, balancing your client and leaving them with a sense of calmness and healthy well-being. Soothing on muscular pain.

Caution: Earth MassageWax not for use with pregnancy, sensitive skin, low blood pressure or epilepsy. Do not apply before going into the sun as may increase chances of sunburn.

Relaxation MassageWax - Bergamot, Clary Sage, Geranium, Arnica

The soft, mellow aroma of Relaxation MassageWax brings calmness, clarity and harmony while gently easing tired muscles, replenishing dry skin and leaving you relaxed, light and peaceful.

Caution: Do not apply before going into the sun as may increase chances of sunburn. Relaxation MassageWax not for use with pregnancy, low blood pressure or epilepsy.
